Hyderabad, June 13: Officials of Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) today conducted raids on Bhaskar Medical College, Moinabad, after securing information that the college had been accorded permission in violation of several Medical Council of India norms.
Sources in the CBI told Express that raids were conducted as part of investigation into various irregularities committed by officials of the MCI throughout the country.
“There was specific information that Bhaskar Medical College secured permission in violation of several norms. We have seized documents and other material from the college,’’ an official said.
They did not rule out arrest of members of the college management.
