New Delhi, December 08: Ex-Telecom minister A Raja whose homes in the Capital and in Tamil Nadu were searched by the CBI today in connection the 2G spectrum probe was questioned by the agency sleuths during the raids.
Besides Raja, the CBI conducted searches at premises of R K Chandolia, his former personal secretary, Siddhartha Behuria, then DoT secretary, K Sridhar, then Member, Telecom Commission, A K Srivastava, then Deputy Director General, Access Service Wing, DoT, and his business partner Sadiqui Batcha, Managing Director of Chennai-based Greenhouse Exports.
CBI sources said some questions were put to Raja during the searches at his Delhi home. The DMK leader may be subjected to a formal questioning later, the sources said.
The sources said Chandolia and Srivastava were called for questioning and they may be quizzed again tomorrow.
No arrests have been made so far, the sources said.
