CBI questions Sai Reddy for second day in Jagan’s case

Hyderabad, September 04: Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) team interrogated Vice-Chairman of Jagathi Publications V Vijay Sai Reddy at Dilkusha Guest House here for the second day today. The Jagathi Publications is owned by YSR Congress Party chief Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy and Sai Reddy is the second accused in his disproportionate assets case. Sources said the CBI grilled Sai Reddy for few hours after it did the same exercise for nearly six hours yesterday to ascertain about the investments made into the Jagathi Publications.

Sai Reddy was likely to be interrogated again tomorrow and the investigating agency was preparing ground to take the accused persons involved in the case into its custody shortly, they added. The CBI had seized several records during a search in the office and residence of Sai Reddy at Krishna Sindhu Residency in Banjara Hills on August 17. Meanwhile, the Andhra Pradesh Government has appointed an IAS officer Ajay Mishra, as a coordinator between the government and the CBI. The CBI has asked the government to provide information about more than 10 departments in respect of Jagan and Emaar Properties cases.
