(Siasat News) Mr. Zahid Ali Khan, Editor Siasat demanded the Central Govt. to get the illegal possessions investigated by CBI to expose the roles of public representatives, politicians, bureaucrats and white clad capitalists.
Expressing his reaction on the judgement pronounced by A.P. High Court on Hussain Shah Vali Rh., property, he told that the court judegment shows that the role of the Govt. as the custodian of the Wakf properties has been negative. The judiciary has once again proved that victims get justice. The exploiters and oppressors, however mighty they may be, they have to meet defeat one day or the other. Govt. had to face defeat at Tribunal level and at the level of high court which depicts that the campaign of Urdu newspapers was justified. This campaign, in a way, is the success of protection of Wakf property. It awakened the Muslim Ummah by exposing the oppressive measures of the Govt.
He told that Muslims neither want privileges and relaxations nor any illegal demands. What they want is that the protection of the properties of their ancestors who had donated valuable properties for the welfare of the community.
He told that at least the Govt. should release now that by manipulating rules and regulations, it can’t usurp Wakf properties. Awareness has been created among the Muslims. They are not going to keep quiet now for any kind irregularities by the Govt.
Mr. Zahid Ali Khan demanded that the Govt. should realize its mistake immediately and withdraw from the property of Dargah Hussain Shah Vali Rh. It should also adopt corrective measures in respect of other properties and give back all other properties which the Govt. has occupied.
He told that if the estimates of Wakf properties are made, it will supersede all the scams and exposed so far.
He pointed out that if Govt. seriously strengthens our Wakf management and allows the Wakf Boards to function effectively there is no need for any welfare grants for the Muslims from the Govt. funds. In a short time, the educational and economic condition of the Muslims of the entire country will definitely improve.
He told that from Hitech city to Shamsabad airport, there are 9,000 Wakf properties out of which 70% are illegally occupied by others. With High Court judgement the chances of evictions of all such illegal possessions have been made possible. Govt. should cooperative with Wakf board in the matter.
