(NSS): Vasireddy Chandrabala, against whom the YSR Congress leaders expressed suspicion as she has been making innumerable calls to CBI Joint Director Lakshmi Narayana and several media persons, appeared before a TV channel and explained that the agency’s top cop was her classmate.
Talking to the media, she said she was an employee of the IBM and was working with the Lead India Empowering Youth Program since six months. She said that she has called the ABN Andhra Jyothi for coverage of the Lead India programs. She said that she also called Sakshi newspaper and channel. She was talking to the media as she was promoting the program and requesting media persons for coverage, she added.
Stating that CBI JD Lakshmi Narayana was her classmate, she said both of them had together done several programs as friends and he had helped her out. Chandrabala has stated that she was in Srisailam on Thursday, when she had received some threatening calls. Giving details about her personal life, Chandrabala said she was married with two
daughters and both of them were married. She was in the UK till 2009.
Explaining that she was voluntarily doing the ‘Lead India’ program, she said that for her there was no world outside her job and service activities and that she had nothing to do with politics. She said that she would complain against the YSR Congress for targeting her.
Chandrabala said that her father was an employee of the Irrigation department and that CBI JD Lakshmi Narayana’s father also worked in the same department. While the two worked in Srisailam and Nagarjuna Sagar projects, both the families lived in the same place.
