New Delhi, December 16: CBI has filed the first chargesheet against three persons, including a former regional officer of All India Council for Technical Education, for their alleged involvement in a scam.
The chargesheet was filed against S P Singh, the then regional Officer, AICTE, Chandigarh, Manoj Kumar Chachan and Sanjay Aggarwal, Chairman and Member respectively of Chachan Educational and Welfare Society, Alwar under different Sections of IPC and the Prevention of Corruption Act, CBI officials said.
According to the Agency, a case was registered against Singh and others on July 30, 2009 relating to the approval of integrated campus of the Alwar based educational and welfare society.
