The special court for CBI cases today issued a non-bailable warrant against YSRCP leader Vijaya Sai Reddy, who has been nominated as Rajya sabha member by the party.
The court issued non-bailable warrant for failing to appear before the court in a Disproportionate Assets case involving YSRCP president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy. The CBI court also issued warrant to Jaganmohan Reddy. Later, the case was adjourned to June 10. However, the court rejected the plea of Vijay Sai Reddy that he could not attend the court due to illness.
It may be mentioned here that Vijay Sai Reddy was nominated by YSRCP party as Rajya Sabha member and he was declared elected unanimously. (NSS)
