CBI arrests railway official while taking bribe

New Delhi: A railway official was on Friday arrested by CBI for allegedly taking a bribe of Rs 20,000 in Merta of Nagaur district.

The accused official Kailash Meena, an engineer, had demanded the bribe from a contractor for the payment of his bill.

After verification of the complaint, the accused was held on Friday in Merta while taking the bribe, sources said.

The accused is posted in Jodhpur and a search operation in his house is going on.
