Narsapur, May 17: In a gruesome incident unidentified killers attacked father and daughter by stopping a moving bus here at Narsapur leaving 40 year old Prabhakar dead on the spot and his 22 year old daughter Prianka seriously injured. After attacking with sharp weapons the assailants fled.
It is believed that the attack was made by Prianka’s in-laws. According to Narsapur police sources Prianka married Ramu 6 months ago. The couple had a love marriage. Prianka is said to be the student of B. Tech studying in MSR College.
Girl’s relatives resented their marriage and had registered a case against Ramu. Distraught by this Ramu committed suicide as a result Prianka’s relatives were incensed with Ramu’s relatives.
Police suspect that Ramu’s relatives are involved in the murder attack.
Since Prianka is seriously injured she had been taken to Narsapur area hospital and shifted to Gandhi hospital after primary medical aid.
DSP Mr. Vekateshwarulu told that 5 persons were involved in the attack of which 2 boarded the bus from Ismael Khanpet and 3 came riding on motorcycles. The bike riders stopped the bus by coming infront of the bus and made an attack.
