New delhi: Cashew prices rose by Rs 5 per kg in the national capital today on increased buying demand from bulk consumers against tight stocks position.
Further, a fall in supplies from growing regions also supported the uptrend in the prices of cashew.
Cashew kernel No 180, No 210, No 240 and No 320 rose by Rs 5 each to settle at Rs 1,075-1,085, Rs 975-985 Rs 875-885 and Rs 775-785 per kg, respectively.
Marketmen said, an increased buying by retailers and stockists against restricted supplies from growing belts, mainly pushed up the cashew prices.
