Lucknow, January 30: The Government Railway Police(GRP) recovered cash and ornaments worth Rs ten lakh from possession of a passenger during routine checking in 12597 Saptkranti Expreess train at Gorakhpur station of North Eastern Railways early this morning. One Hari Narayan, resident of west Champaran in Bihar, was arrested with the cash and ornaments by GRP, the official reports reaching here at the state headquarters said. The income tax authorities have been informed and further probe is launched. Following the directives of the Election Commission, the intensive checkings are being done to prevent use of black money in view of assembly polls in Uttar Pradesh.
