New Delhi, January 15:Valuables worth Rs 5 lakh were allegedly robbed of from a doctor’s house in north-west district’s Mukherjee Nagar area today, police said.
Harjeet Singh, a property dealer, and his wife Soni Bakshi, a doctor were out of town when a few miscreants allegedly entered their second-floor house in Indira Vihar this afternoon.
The couple was informed by neighbours who saw the main-door lock opened, police said.
When the couple returned, they found their home ransacked and valuables worth Rs 5 lakh including gold jewellery and cash, missing,” an official claimed.
Investigations were on.
