New Delhi, November 15: Unidentified men broke open the house of a businessman in west Delhi and decamped with cash and jewellery of Rs 39 lakh, police said today. The incident took place at the west Patel Nagar residence of Hardev Singh, a businessman, at around 8 pm yesterday, they said.
The family was not present when the burglars struck at their house. According to the complainant, police said, cash and jewellery of around Rs 39 lakh were missing.
Police said they suspect the involvement of someone known to the family. “They knew that the family was not at home,” a senior police official said.
