Cash for Vote: EC, ACB seeks audio, video tapes from court

The Election Commission of India and Anti-Corruption Bureau on Thursday filed petitions in the Special Court for ACB cases and south the audio and video tapes related to ‘Cash for Vote’ case.

In their separate petitions, the ECI and ACB requested the court for a copy of audio and videos and hard disks to probe into the case further. The ACB, in its petition, said that TDP MLA A Revanth Reddy had made a mention of one “Boss” in his conversation with nominated MLA Elvis Stephenson before he was caught red-handed on May 31. The ACB said that the “Boss” is an influential person and it needs the tapes to take its investigation to the next level. (INN)
