The CBI petition for extension of custody of Yadagiri Rao, who was arrested in connection with the cash-for-bail scam, was posted to Friday by the ACB court here.
ACB authorities have filed the petition seeking extension of the custody of Yadagiri Rao, who was charged with brokering the deal offering bribe to CBI Judge Pattabhi Rama Rao for granting bail to Gali Janardhana Reddy, who was arrested for illegal mining. ACB sought extension of Yadagiri’s custody, stating that it needed to question him further to get some more details of the case.
The Court has adjourned further hearing on the petition to Friday.
