Karimnagar Police registered a criminal case against Prof. Kodandaram, President, Telangana Political Joint Action Committee. He had made personal remarks against Dr. D. Sreedhar Babu, Minister for Civil Supplies, while addressing a gathering on the occasion of Independence Day celebrations of Hyderabad state under sections 153, 153(A) and 506 of Indian Penal Code.
