Case lodged against Times Now senior editor

NEW DELHI: A senior editor of Times Now news channel was arrested for allegedly outraging the modesty of two women, who are residents of Delhi.

According to media reports, the incident took place on an Indigo flight from Thiruvananthapuram to Delhi when the two sisters were travelling with their family.

They complained that Executive Editor Vivek Narayan, who was sitting next to them clicked their photos against without their consent. He continued clicking selfies even after the women objected and asked him to delete the photos.

The women raised the issue with the security department when the flight landed at IGI. Later, a case under Section 509 of IPC has been registered against him. He was arrested and and later released on bail.
