Allu Arjun visits Kuntala Waterfalls
As per guidelines issued by the Telangana government in light of the Covid-19 pandemic, tourist spots, including the Kuntala Water Falls, remain shut and are out of bounds for the public. After the actor’s visit, several netizens questioned the Forest Department on why they made an exception for the Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo star and his friends.
Speaking to Hyderabad Times, Dr B Prabhakar, DFO Adilabad, says, “Allu Arjun did not inform us before his visit. We have put up sign-boards at all tourist spots announcing that they are closed. Despite this, many people flout norms and visit these places. The actor is not the first person to do it, but given that he’s a celebrity, he should have been more responsible.”
On the professional front, Allu Arjun has been busy filming for his next film Pushpa which is being helmed by Sukumar. It also stars Prakash Raj, Jagapathi Babu and Rashmika Mandanna in pivotal roles. Besides this, Pushpa is also all set to be a pan-India project for the actor as it will be dubbed in multiple languages like Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam and Kannada.
