In Hyderabad, superintending archaeologist of ASI, 45, R Krisnaiah, was charged with sexually harassing a 55-year-old female attender on Wednesday.
The woman alleged that Krisnaiah has been harassing her for the last few months by demanding sexual favours.
Golconda police registered a case against the accused under section 354-a (sexual harassment) of the IPC. The victim was transferred from Hyderabad to Guntupalli in West Godavari district.
