Maulana Syed Ghulam Afzal Biyabani, Chairman A.P. State Wakf Board initiated criminal action against the person who sold out wakf property in Kukatpally area and received remuneration from GHMC. The Chairman of Wakf Board took special interest in this case. On receiving a complaint from the officials of Wakf Board, he lodged a complain in Kukatpally police station under sections 406 and 420 of Indian Penal Code against Syed Arif Uddin Quadri. Kukatpally police registered an FIR.
It may be noted that GHMC had acquired property belonging to Dargah Hazrath Shah Ali Abbas in connection with Hyderabad Metro Rail Project. It is registered wakf property. The authorities of GHMC dismantled the arch of the Dargah. It is said that GHMC paid Rs.1.85 crore as compensation for this property to Mr. Arif Uddin. Mr. Arif Uddin has been claiming to be the Mutawalli (Custodian) of this property where as this wakf property is directly under the control of A.P. State Wakf Board but it is said that Mr. Arif Uddin Quadri has the orders issued by the then Chief Executive officer of Wakf Board. Investigations are being carried out in Wakf Board for his appointment as Mutawalli.
Discussion on Lok Pal bill today

Matrimonial Program Du ba Du in Mumtaz College today
Under the auspicious of Minority Development Forum of Siasat Urdu Daily, a Matrimonial Program “Du ba Du” (Face-to-Face) is being arranged today 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Mumtaz College Malakpet. Mr. Zahid Ali Khan, Editor of Siasat and Maulana Mohd Faheem Uddin member, Advisory Committee of Jamat-e-Islami, Karnataka will participate as special guest. Mr. Abid Siddiquee, President of Minorities Development Forum will preside the function. Registration for Matrimonial Alliances of Muslim Boys and Girls could be made at the registration counters. Parents and Guardian should bring Bio-data of their sons and daughters along with two photographs. Registrations made in respect of Boys and Girls from January to May may also be seen. These registered cases will be placed for alliances. It is expected that nearly 5000 parents and Guardians would participate in this program. All the information is available on computers. To facilitate furnishing information about Matrimonial Alliances, 40 lady volunteers are deputed. They will Counciling to parents and Guardians. Marriage Councilors will guide the parents and guardians to finalize Matrimonial Alliances by mutual consensus. Separate Counciling rooms have been arranged according to professions and qualifications. A team lead by Mr. Zahid Farooqui will assist parents and guardians to finalizes Matrimonial Alliances.
