Case against KCR for remarks against PM

Khammam district court has directed the police to register a case against the TRS chief K CHandrasekhara Rao, for the reported remarks he made, demeaning the stature of the Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh from a public platform.
The court responded to the petition of one Rama Rao of Khammam district.
Rama Rao initially complained about the remarks of KCR to the police. When there was no response from them, he met the DGP Dinesh Reddy. The DGP then directed the Khammam district police to investigate. As there was no progress in the investigation, Rama Rao filed a case against KCR in the district court.
It was reported in January that KCR said the Prime Minister lacked the intelligence of even a Chaprasi. There were serious protests from the Congress leaders. Several Congress leaders filed cases against KCR in different courts. (NSS)
