Carnegie Mellon University Academic Merit Scholarships, Australia 2018 offers an opportunity for graduate students who are willing to apply for a master’s degree course to win financial assistance for their studies.

An applicant must –
Hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a regionally accredited institution.

Have a valid score of either GRE (minimum 300) or GMAT (minimum 600) within the last 5 years or sit for CMU Institutional Maths Online Test.

Be proficient in the English language with IELTS (6.5 overall and 6.0 in each band) or TOEFL (minimum score 22).

Have programming experience in data structures and an object-oriented programming language like Java, C, or C++ (For applicants applying to information technology programs).

Have a professional work experience of more than 3 years (for 12-months track courses).

Step 1: Scholarship application and selection: Students need to apply through common online application form. Based on their merit, they will be shortlisted for short telephonic interview round.

Step 2: Admission application and selection: Finalist students (post interview) need to apply for CMU admission application form to receive conditional admission offer letter.
