Hyderabad: In yet another drunk and drive accident in the posh Jubilee Hills are, in the wee hours of Sunday, an over-speeding car rammed a road divider and somersaulted twice near the residence of cine actor and MLA Nandamuri Balakrishna on Road No 45 in Jubilee Hills.
The Jubilee Hills police rushed to the spot and took up investigation. Circle Inspector Chandrasekhar said the ill-fated car was proceeding on very high speed from Jubilee Hills checkpost towards Film Nagar. When the over-speeding car reached the road curve at Balakrishna’s house at around 1.45 am, it rammed the road divider and overturned twice. The driver, apparently drunk, fled the spot leaving the car, the CI said, adding that no one was injured but two youths escaped miraculously. A pole fitted with CC cameras was damaged in the incident. (NSS)
