Shillong, January 07: Three persons were killed and another seriously injured when a car in which they were travelling plunged into a gorge in Jaintia Hills district, police said today.
The vehicle lost control while it was on its way from Guwahati to Silchar and fell down a gorge near Sonapur last night, superintendent of police O Passi said.
A father-son duo from Assam and the driver of the vehicle died, while another sustained serious injuries.
