Hyderabad: Panic prevailed in Shaikpet area when a taxi cab caught fire while taking a Software Engineer to Hitec City.
According to the details of the incident, Shafiuddin, resident of Hasan Nagar who is a cab driver was taking the Software Engineer to Hitec City. He took some other Software Engineers from Mehdipatnam. When the car reached Shaikpet, its engine caught fire suddenly. Meanwhile, an unknown passerby poured petrol on the car which intensified the fire. Local residents commissioned the fire tenders immediately.
The fire was extinguished. Golconda Police registered a case and started investigation.
