New Delhi, April 12: A personal car belonging to a CBI inspector was taken away by unidentified auto lifters from outside CBI headquarters in south Delhi’s Lodhi Colony area on April 6.
GM Rathi had gone to his office, located in CGO complex in Lodhi Colony area of south Delhi, and parked the vehicle near the office building. Rathi told the police that he would park his car near the new building as a matter of routine.
“The inspector found his car missin when he came out of his office. The car is reportedly bearing a Home Ministry sticker. Finding his car missing from the parking area, he enquired from the security guard, who pleaded ignorance. After that the matter was reported to the police,” said a source said.
