(Siasat News)American Oncology Institute and Cyberabad citizens’ Health Service have invested Rs.220 crore for establishing a cancer institute with 350 beds.
In the second phase of its development, the hospital would be upgraded and 1000 beds would be provided. The total investment then would also be enhanced to Rs.1, 000 crore.
President of CTSE and CEO Mr. Joseph A.Nicholas told this to newsmen yesterday. He also told that with the change of lifestyle of the Indians, the number of cancer patients is on the increase. He said that nearly 25 lakh patients in India suffer from cancer every year. In the first phase, the cancer hospital with 350 beds would be completed.
