New Delhi: Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is expected to visit India in the first quarter of 2018. However, India is yet to confirm dates for the bilateral summit.
His visit to India likely to be scheduled in mid-to-late February due to PM Modi’s tight schedule in January.
A visit by Trudeau, though, could put the positive vibes between the two nations, as the pro-Khalistani activism assumed power in 2015.
Three Canadian cabinet ministers had recently visited India, which Global Affairs Canada called “historic trade mission”.
