Campus placements at MANUU

Hyderabad, June 1: The department of Social Work, MANUU was started in 2009 and offers a two year P.G. course of Master of Social Work (MSW). The first batch of MSW course has completed its theory examinations of final semester.

According to their course curriculum guidelines, all the final year students have to undergo a block placement training for eight weeks in different government/ non-government agency. For this purpose all the students have been placed in different national level agencies in the country, like Nimala Niketan (Mumbai), DON BOSCO Tech (New Delhi), DON BOSCO Tech (Jehanabad, Bihar), Nandi Foundation (Hyderabad), SAFA (Hyderabad), RGMVE (Rai Bareilly), Maruti Suzuki India Ltd (Gurgaon) and ESSAR Group (Mumbai).

The students will be joining their respective training agencies in the first week of June, 2011.

Apart from this the MSW II semester students will be attending a 10 days (7th to 16th June,2011) training at the department of Sociology and Social Work, AMU, Aligarh on Comprehensive Child Survival Programme (CCSP).

We feel proud to inform you that out of a batch of sixteen students in MSW final year, 50 percent students have secured their jobs through campus placements and other recruitments processes in various reputed national level organizations of India.
