A.P. Urdu Forum and Mazhar Educational Society have taken a decision to launch a campaign against Dowry and also to celebrate marriage function in a simple way. A meeting was held at the residence of the Chairman of A.P. Urdu Forum, Mr. Mohammed Ismail-ur-Rab Ansari at Ajanta Gate, adjacent to Exhibition Grounds yesterday. Ladies and Gentlemen from various organizations attended the meeting and took a vow to eradicate the evils of taking dowry and extravaganza in marriages. A decision was taken that neither dowry will be given nor taken and marriage will be celebrated in a simple manner. It was also decided to create awareness meetings in various parts of the city.
