Washington : Actress Cameron Diaz, who tied the knot to Benji Madden in 2015, has recently said that she never imagined herself getting married after the age of 40.
On being asked to share something new that took her by surprise, the 43-year-old actress revealed it was her marriage to Madden, Us magazine reports.
“I got married last year. That was the biggest thing I’ve done in my 40s, and it opened me up in different ways. It’s pretty awesome. I didn’t think it was something I’d do, and I don’t know if I’d have done it if I hadn’t met my husband. It was a surprise,” Diaz said in an interview to Harper’s Bazaar.
The ‘Sex Tape’ actress had earlier dated celebrities like Justin Timberlake, Jared Leto and Yankees slugger Alex Rodriguez.
Cameron also revealed that apart from her marriage, what surprised her was the way her body, her metabolism and physiology have changed. (ANI)
