Minister for Industries, IT and MAUD K T Rama Rao met California Governor Mr Edmund Jerry Brown on Thursday. Telangana Government and California State entered into an MoU for mutual cooperation in the field of non-conventional sources of energy. Sri Rama Rao had elaborated on the Industrial Policy – TSiPASS and ICT Policy of Telangana Government in the meeting which was also attended by GenCo CMD Sri Prabhakar Rao and other senior officials from Energy Department. California Governor in April invited Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao for Clean Energy Ministerial 7 (CEM7) now being held in San Francisco. Telangana – the only State in India – is among the 13 other provinces to get the invite for CEM7.
