Call for withdrawal of communal riot cases

Hyderabad, September 29 (Siasat News): BJP has demanded immediate and effective measures for withdrawal of cases registered against innocent youth in communal incidents occurred during last few months’ in Hyderabad.

Under the leadership of Mr. Badam Balreddy, the delegation of Greater Hyderabad city BJP committee presented a detailed memorandum to Mrs. Sabhita Indira Reddy at state Secretariate and said that some innocent youth were involved in the communal incidents occurred during last few months and cases had been registered against them for which the innocent youth faced difficulties as they were harassed by calling them to police station on every ordinary incident.

Mr. B Venkat Reddy said that the delegation included Mrss. D Karonakar and Bhanwarlal Varma, General Secretaries, G Prabhakar, vice president, Jagjivan Reddy BJP leader and others.

The delegation told the Home minister that BJP leaders had given advice based on 10 points, but no measures had been taken so far due to which police was harassing those innocent youth. They demanded immediate action and called for police bandobast in sensitive areas so that communal incidents would not be repeated in the future.
