Nearly 100 people, including 40 cabs drivers, donated their blood on the eve of celebration of first anniversary of Telangana State formation.
The blood donation camp was organised by Noori Travels and Sky Cabs, in collaboration with Telangana State Cabs and Bus Operators Association (TSCBOA) and Thalassemia Society, at Khairabad here on Wednesday. Central Zone DCP V.B.Kamalasen Reddy inaugurated the blood donation camp as the Chief Guest. He lauded the initiative taken by Noori Travels and Sky Cabs Director Karrar Taher.
On this special occasion, the employees, staff and drivers came together as a community to participate in the blood donation drive. TSCBOA Treasure Ashwin Jain and Karrar Taher were among those who donated their blood for Thalassemia patients. TSCBOA President Syed Nizamuddin and other cab operators also participated in the event. (INN)
