Hyderabad: An all-party protest meeting entitled ‘Save Constitution, Save Country’ will be held on Sunday, January 5, at Chanchalguda Junior college ground from Maghrib to 10 pm.
Various religious organisations, social institutions and political parties besides several student organisations will participate in the meeting.
Former MP and national president Tanzeem Insaaf Mr Syed Aziz Pasha told that more than 40 organisations are taking part in the meeting which aims at registering protest against Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA), National Register of Citizens (NRC) and National Population Register (NPR).
Addressing a press conference, Mr Aziz Pasha said protests are taking place against the draconian law across the country but in states where BJP is in power the protests are taking a violent turn.
He accused BJP led state governments of using government missionary to give communal colour to the NRC, CAA, NPR protests.
