NIZAMBAD: Women from Nizamabad reportedly presented bangles to men for not protesting against the implementation of the Citizenship (Amendment) Act, National Population Register and the National Register of Citizens the way they should have been.
To express solidarity, a religious leader from Hyderabad Maulana Mohammad Jafar Pasha Husamuddin Sani visited the camp of protestors. Maulana Jafar Pasha was one of the speakers at the sit-in protest site.
In the video posted on Twitter, the hijab-clad women can be seen presenting a plate full of colourful bangles expressing their anger saying ‘choorhiya pehen ke baitho.’ The men at the gathering were seen attempting to pacify them.

The women said that they will present the bangles to every political and religious leader for not registering their opposition against the draconian law.
