Hyderabad: The Joint Action Committee (JAC) of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh had decided to organize ‘1 Million March’ on 28 December 2019 at Necklace Road.
The committee held a meeting and are hopeful to get permission for the peaceful demonstration. This meeting was organized near the office of Mohammed Mushtaq Malik, president of Tehreek Muslim Shabban (TMS).
The president of TMS said that the JAC has committees across 17 districts and meetings are being held there for making this March success.
As quoted by The Hans India, the president of TMS said: “Since the University students sensed what the Union Government is up to, under the garb of CAA and NRC, the youth would be forming the huge chunk of the demonstrators coming from all over the 17 districts, apart from general public cutting across the religious groups. The believers of the Indian Constitutions will be taking part in the massive uprising.”
The JAC leader urge the citizens not to fall prey to the false rhetoric of the PM (Modi) and HM (Shah) and keep mounting pressure until the CAA was repealed.
The Joint Action Committee has sought permission from the police to organize the March and is hopeful to get the permission.
