C-DOT rededicates itself to make Modi’s dream of Digital India a reality

New Delhi, Aug.24 : On the eve of its Foundation Day, the Centre for Development of Telecommunications (C-DOT) has rededicated itself to making Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s dream of a Digital India a reality.

Vipin Tyagi, C-DOT’s Executive Director, reaffirmed that C-DOT is working with a missionary zeal towards this goal of bridging the digital divide between rural and urban India.

C-DOT has a diverse product portfolio, including switching and routing, optical, wireless, security and other telecom software applications.

The Foundation Day event will be inaugurated by Narendra Kumar Yadav, Member (Services and Technology) of the Telecom Commission at C-DOT’s Mehrauli Campus in New Delhi.

The inaugural session will be followed by the keynote address by Dr. Boyd McGregor Murray, an eminent wireless technologies expert from Australia.

The Foundation Day lecture will be delivered by Founding Executive Director G. B. Meemamsi, a Padma awardee.

C-DOT is organizing a seminar-cum-workshop on the theme, “Exploring the new horizons of the Wireless, M2M and IoT Firmament” on August 26 in which experts from the field experts will be sharing their innovative ideas and novel concepts.

An exhibition has also been planned in the sidelines to showcase C-DOT’s indigenously designed technologies with their live demonstration. (ANI)
