New Delhi : Dr. Poonam Malhotra Professor, Anaesthesia, CNC AIIMS Delhi, announced the launch of a unique fellowship program in Cardiac Critical Care, with Buzz4health as its exclusive digital platform.
The Cardiac Critical Care Fellowship Program, sponsored by The Simulation Society (TSS) in association with SCA – Delhi and NCR Branch, is the first of its kind in India. The program, offering participants a 12-month course in Cardiac Anasthesiology covering key topics in ICU and the operating room, can be attended either on-line or in person.
Eminent personalities from AIIMS, Medanta, Narayana Hrudayalaya and other leading medical institutes across India were present on the occasion. This is the first time in the world a medical fellowship is being conducted with the support of a mobile app (Buzz4health), exclusively meant for doctors.
“The leaders of TSS are true digital pioneers for the medical profession. When I first met Dr. Malhotra, I was inspired by her vision to push the envelope and reach the nooks and corners of the country with her fellowship program. Her vision was perfectly aligned with ours and coming together to conduct this program is a meeting of minds and visions, and we are privileged to be involved,” said Buzz4health’s CEO and Co-founder, Hitesh Ganjoo.
“Buzz4health has really been a technology extension to our efforts and its impressive how easily we were able to scale our reach to thousands of doctors on Buzz4health’s platform. This gave our clinical team the facility to focus on the core content creation for the fellowship while Buzz4health connected us to the right granular audience who were a good potential match for the fellowship,” added Poonam Malhotra.
In the coming months, Dr. Malhotra and Buzz4health will work closely to launch an exclusive space within the Buzz4health app to cater to the interested fellowship candidates and disrupt the existing fellowship and CME ecosystem to address a huge audience on a continuous manner. (ANI)
