New Delhi, August 26: Former Union Minister Buta Singh, who is presently the Chairman of the National Commission for Schedule Caste, has approached the Delhi High Court challenging the CBI’s notice to him to appear before it as a witness in connection with the bribery case registered by the agency against his son.
In his petition, Singh has sought quashing of the summons against him.
The CBI wants to question Singh in connection with the Rs one crore bribery case against his son Sarabjot, alias Sweety Singh, who was arrested early this month.
Singh’s petition is likely to be heard tomorrow.
