Hyderabad, April 07: Nine persons, mostly businessmen from various parts of the city, were abbed by Task Force sleuths on Wednesday while gambling in a rented flat at Begumpet.
Police recovered more than Rs 1.89 lakh from them.
On information that some persons were playing cards in flat no 303 of Ivorysands Apartments at Begumpet, Task Force sleuths raided the premises and nabbed the nine persons.
The nabbed are P Ram Reddy, A V Rama Reddy, K Sridhar Babu, N Madhava Rao, K Subash, G Satish Kumar, G Rattaiah, K Kishan Rao (all businessmen) and B Krishna Rao, an agriculturalist.
The nabbed persons were handed over to the Begumpet police for further action.
