New Delhi, November 09: A businessman was today robbed of Rs six lakh by four unidentified youths who took away the cash bag after firing at his driver in West Delhi area.
The incident happened around 9.30 am when Satya Prakash was going to his office in Model Town area, police said.
Narrating the incident, police said at Ranapratap Bagh, Prakash got down from his car and walked towards his office in the locality. His driver Keshav was following with a briefcase containing Rs six lakh.
Four unidentified youths, who came in motorcycles, fired at Keshav and fled the spot with the cash, police said.
Keshav was admitted to Bara Hindurao Hospital. A case has been registered in connection with the incident and further investigation is on, they said.
