Business man shot dead inside jewellery shop in Agra

Agra, December 14: Camera never tells lie and it has revelead a shoot out in a shop in the city’s Shah Ganj area which occured on Sunday evening. The CCTV camera which was installed in a jwellary shop shows the fact in which a business man was killed. The police has intensified the search operations across the city to nab the assialants.

According to the eyewitness, Shail Kundra, who owns a cloth shop in the Rui- Ki- mandi area under Shah Ganj police station. He was sitting at his friend’s jwellery shop, M/s Vadhwa Jwellers. Two people went inside the shop and started firing on Kundra. Kundra tried to give the answer through his pistol but he was not able to fire at the shooters. Gunmen shot 7 round of bullets in which 4 wonded the Shail kundra body and 3 were fired on the jwellery shop owner. After the incident the injured were immediately rushed to the medical college and then to a privat hospital where Shail Kundra scummbed to the injury.

The footage shows two gunmen barging into the jewellery shop on Sunday and opening fire. Businessman Shail Kundra, who was sitting inside the shop, is their target. Thefootage shows Kundra struggling, ducking and jumping for cover even as he whips out his revolver and tries to fire back at the attackers. But his revolver gets jammed.

Taking advantage, the attackers kick him, snatch his gun and spray bullets at him. Kundra, who owned an adjacent shop, suffers three bullet injuries. He died in hospital later. TheAgra Police has announced a reward of Rs 15,000 for information on the killers.

“Radhey’s elder brother had been killed by Shail Kundra. They used to be business partners and friends but fell out over money matters. To avenge the death of his brother, Radhey committed the murder,” said Aaditya Mishra, DIG Agra.

Mishra said the CCTV footage was released to help arrest the culprits. “I got the CCTV footage released so that the assailants could be identified and to avoid speculation on whether the killers were hired or had any other motive. People immediately identified Radhey in the footage,” Mishra said.
