We are currently retained by a leading education client which is expanding its footprint rapidly in India. This role is to be the BD lead for a region and most of these markets are semi urban–so apply only if you are open to these locations.

Key Responsibilities :

– The role requires to meet with new prospective clients of the company that is School Founders / chairperson / Principal and other key stakeholders to propose them a solution.

– Please note this role requires extensive travelling and is not an office based role.

– Key criteria for this role is MBA from a good college.

– The role will report to Regional Education Manager.

– The person will be responsible for leading, training, managing and contributing to the development of an outside and inside 4-6 highly qualified regional sales team that is poised to quickly expand.

– The person will ensure that the sales team has the guidance, resources, and skill to dramatically increase sales line by identifying market opportunities, driving new business, and expanding on a base of existing customers. He/She will work closely with the Regional Education Manager to develop short- and long-term strategies to efficiently grow the total business.

– The person will be expected to spend approximately 60 – 70% of his time in the field working directly with sales representatives and customers, and will maintain several of his/her own accounts with high-profile customers.
