Business deals with China focused towards employment: BJP

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Saturday said the business deals signed between India and China during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit are meant to promote employment and industrialisation in the country.

“The business deals that are being organised or have being hammered out with the Chinese businessman and the government have an essence and a major objective, which is the creation of jobs and industrialisation on a massive scale, so that India is flooded with what it needs the most ; ‘Jobs’!” BJP spokesperson MJ Akbar told ANI.

“Infrastructure is Prime Minister’s key aspect of economic vision. Infrastructure is the greatest creator of jobs in our contemporary environment. Now we are seeing the true momentum behind the Modi vision,” he added.

Earlier in the day, CEOs of a number of Chinese firms pledged their ‘full support’ to Prime Minister Modi’s ‘Make in India’ initiative.
