GITAM School of International Business (GSIB), in collaboration with IBM will offer a one year Post Graduate Diploma in Business Analytics (PGDBA) with an intake of 30 students from the ensuing academic year. The programme will be offered in three trimesters followed by Capstone Project in Industry. Prof. V.K.Kumar, Director, GSIB said in the press release on Wednesday.
The one year co-branded PDDBA will be jointly offered by GSIB faculty and IBM Subject Matter Experts (SMEs). It would be a combination of class-room teaching and technology-aided learning platform. The comprehensive programme provides a framework through which students would learn to understand the management process, gain understanding of its functional areas and acquire knowledge and skills in Business Analytics.
Any graduate or postgraduate in mathematics, statistics, commerce, computer application, economics, business administration, engineering/technology, chartered accountancy, cost accountancy, certified financial analyst with 50 per cent marks is eligible to apply. Candidates who are in the final year of graduation or post-graduate programme are also eligible to apply.
