Bury Congress for stalling progress: Harish

Irrigation Minister, T Harish Rao today lashed out at the Congress for its rhetoric and frequently coming in the way of development. He called upon people to bury the Congress and help the ruling party to continue welfare programs.

 Participating in some developmental programs in Siddipet segment, including Komati Cheruvu and Adventure sports, he asked the officials to complete them on time. On the occasion, Harish said that the government was for speedy completion of the projects and giving top priority for welfare of poor. Education, health and irrigation are on top of the agenda of the government and spending huge funds, he said.

Harish Rao also charged the Opposition with running away from the Assembly during winter session due to lack of content. What they have done during the session was just protests and walkouts, he fumed. The Congress has no policy in favour of the people and making false statements against the government. He also accused the Congress of coming in the way of development he alleged. It is known fact that the Congress moved courts with false cases. The people will teach them a fitting lesson, he said. He said the government was keen on completing the projects despite hurdles being created by the Opposition. “Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is for irrigating one crore acres over five years. We are completing all pending and fresh irrigation projects”, he claimed. (NSS)
