Everyone seems to be threatened by a woman in a veil. Her sense of self worth determined by whats in her head vs how much skin she's showing. Ppl r desperately trying to objectify her EYES and HANDS. Imagine. Imagine the fear.

My gmother grew up taking a niqab; she said she only felt alive the day she took it off. She sold her ancestral lands to educate her daughters, sold her jewelery to send me abroad at 18 so none of us wud live the life she lives: Donot glamorize a walking prison like #BushraKhan

It may be mentioned that at the oath-taking ceremony, Bushra Khan was also present, making her first public appearance since the couple married earlier this year. She was covered from head to toe in a white niqab.
On Monday, 16 members of Imran Khan’s cabinet took oath at a ceremony held at the President House. Pakistan’s President Mamnoon Hussain administered the oath to them.
