New Delhi, March 18: A 21-year-old man, who leads the ‘burgle and burn’ gang following the arrest of their leader, was apprehended in south Delhi, police said today.
Suraj, who became the new leader of the gang after the arrest of Sanju, was apprehended from Pillanji village in Sarojini Nagar recently.
He was wanted in two cases of burgle and burn cases in Sarojini Nagar recently. Three minors were apprehended earlier in these two cases.
“Suraj, who has become leader after arrest of Sanju, has previously been involved in many cases of burglary and loot. He is in habit of consuming Fluid, ganja and other drugs. At the time of arrest of Suraj, 55 grams of charas was recovered from him,” H G S Dhaliwal, Deputy Commissioner of Police (South), said.
