Burglars tie old woman to chair, flee with jewels and cash

Hyderabad, March 17: Burglars have once again shaken the residents of the city with their anti social activities. In an incident occurred in L B Nagar of Cyberabad thieves barged into a house fleeing with 9 tolas of gold ornaments and a cash amount of 3 thousand rupees.

This daring move of the robbers has raised a question mark on the performance of police. Coping with the burglars has become a challenge for Cyberabad police commissioner.

In an incident occurred on Wednesday burglars barged into the house of an old woman. They tied her to a chair and put plaster on her mouth. The victim R Lingamma has a son and a daughter residing in America. The unidentified burglars sought water from the old woman as she called them inside to serve water they tied her to a chair and adhered plaster over her mouth later on they fled taking away gold ornaments and cash.
